I purchased this memory card about a year ago, and dispite reports of it corrupting eaisly I had no problem with it, it easily held all my games and seemed to work fine. This is until yesterday, yesterday I went and tried to play metroid, and a message popped up saying the card was corrupted and needed to be re-formated it said the same thing with all my games. If you care about your game saves dont buy this product! |

Ok, first off just wanted to say that this is a little over priced for the amount of memory it gives you being the reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars. For all you people with a life out there and aren't spioled and/or rich (meaning you didn't get the platinum system) this is perfect. You can save around 20+ games and still use Xbox live. If your a hard core gamer and download all that stuff from Xbox live this isn't what you want. I, myself bought the core system which comes with no memory unit and bought this to save myself some money. I have 12 games saved on the memory unit and Xbox live and still have 44MB left. (10 MB are used for formatting). All I do is play my games and play on Xbox live. THERE IS NO NEED FOR A 20 OR 120 GB MEMORY FOR THE CASUAL GAMER. |

Powers the Controller But...(Review From Amazon) | General Comments:
I think the Play and Charge kit has some good and bad concepts. When the controller runs out of power or beginning to, you can plug this unit in and the controller will remain powered while you have this unit attached. I don't think the unit can charge the controller however while it is being used during a game. The downside is to charge you can either choose to leave the XBox on or off, but the cable must remain attached to the controller first. Why is this a downside? The XBox 360 motor is still loud. That's the only reason that I don't give this a higher number rating. I think the charger is better than this for the overall life of the battery and controller. |

does what it says it does. sad to hook your wireless controller to the xbox with a cable, but if you don't have the rapid charger this is a convenient option. takes a long time (6+ hours) for full recharge but it does the job.
do yourself a favor: buy an extra battery and the rapid charger, use this in a pinch. |
