Does what it does(Review From Amazon) | General Comments: This product does exactly what it's supposed to do. Easy install and with a few system settings I was playing metroid prime 3 in 480p on my 65 inch tv. 480p looks way better than 480i. The jaggies are more prominent but the picture is sooooo much better that I hardly notice them. I went with the Nintendo brand since it was only 10 bucks more than the knock-off. Since it's an analog cable, I was a little skeptical of the knock off and figured that Nintendo would build a better cable for their system. If it were a digital cable (HDMI) I would have bought the cheapest I could find. Read up on digital vs. analog cables if you don't understand. Highly recommend this cable if you have a wii and a TV with component inputs. |

Not a big difference, even for a keen eye(Review From Amazon) | General Comments: This video component cable for the Wii does not make a big difference.
Also, do note that the Wii will not play some games on a widescreen TV, despite the cables and screen settings. Play with your nintendo wii settings, as for example, Mario Party 8 starts with your whole wide screen, but the games show as if you had a regular 4:3 ration screen, not cool! and also harmful for your TV, as it will burn the sripes shown on the screen.
Aside from that, it's a neat addition to hook up something to those new video component entries on your new widescreens LDS and Plasma TV's, folks, nothing more really to it. If you're enjoying the Wii with regular AV cables, stick to those, unless you want to make space for something else on those slots. |

Simply Great !(Review From Amazon) | General Comments: I bought the Mad Catz, simply because it was cheaper than the Nintendo, considering that its just a copper wire encased in plastic, i thought MadCatz will do. And it works great.
For those who are pondering about "My TV does 480i so 480p isnt gonna make much difference". STOP!. Just go get the cable the difference is very obvious.
I have a TOSHIBA 32 inch LCD Flat panel and the images were fuzzy, sort of like 'out of focus'. I know this because i had a regular 27 inch SONY TV before and it was sharp in the SONY(Because it was smaller than the TOSHIBA and was a SDTV) But the moment you switch to a higher resolution(HDTV) TV the Wii started showing its graphic weakness.
Got the Component cable and the pictures are sharp in my TOSHIBA now and i love the clarity.
Go get the cable Nintendo or other manufacturer and you wont regret it. |

Works as promised (a.k.a. sometimes first party product are worth it)(Review From Amazon) | General Comments: Seems to clean up the picture a bit on my 57" HD set. The amount of fan out cable was fine to hook up to my amplifier without having to stretch too much. |
