Old tech, buy a Lite

General Comments:
Don't be a cheap fool, buy a new Lite. The screen is brighter, doesn't come with scratches (like a used one will most likely have), and it actually fits in your pocket.

Not very sturdy.

My son loves the DS but within a few months it was dropped and now it is broke at the hinges so the top screen is hanging by wires. It seems a little less sturdy than the Gameboy advance and DS lite.

Great gaming device

General Comments:
My sons love the DS and have some really great games for it. My only complaint is that I didn't realize there was a newer model, the DS Lite, so I didn't buy the latest model, and it wasn't any less expensive than the DS Lite although Amazon is selling the Lites at a higher price than I found elsewhere (I bought the Lite at Target). So there's really no benefit to buying this model. That said, the kids love the DS and spend more time than they should playing it.

The system is easy to use and fun. We also like the fact that we can play game boy advanced sp games on the new nintendo ds. This helps keep things fun and new for all who play.
